"Fractal" is a contemporary bronze sculpture of a female figure, poised in a dynamic stance with hands on hips, gazing to the left. Echoing the classical form of a caryatid, the figure's lower half has been abstracted, giving way to a fragmented design composed of irregular quadrilaterals. This deconstruction of the human form invites a dialogue between tradition and modernity, where the structured, geometric pattern suggests both the complexity and the fluidity of identity. The title Fractal evokes the idea of self-similarity and infinite variation, hinting at the layers and facets that make up a person’s evolving existence. The abstraction of the figure challenges the viewer to engage with the piece not just as a representation of the human body, but as a contemplation of the shifting nature of form, perception, and identity.
